Amsoil Biodegradable Synthetic Hydraulic Oil is a premium performance, readily biodegradable oil manufactured with synthetic esters. Its high viscosity index provides excellent all-season performance, reducing the need for seasonal change-outs. It remains fluid at low temperatures due to its low pour point to promote smooth, efficient operation in cold weather. Biodegradable Synthetic Hydraulic Oil is compatible with most common seal and hose materials to help prevent leaks.
Maximum Protection and Efficiency
Synthetic ester-based biodegradable hydraulic oils offer improved cold flow compared to their vegetable-based counterparts. Amsoil Biodegradable Synthetic Hydraulic Oil’s low pour point (-54ºF) ensures immediate oil flow in cold temperatures to help reduce pressure spikes and wear while increasing energy efficiency.
Reduces Environmental Impact
Biodegradable Synthetic Hydraulic Oil is readily biodegradable, with an environmental persistence classification of Pw1, the fastest and highest level of biodegradation. It helps reduce environmental harm in the event of leaks or minor spills.

Applications
Use Amsoil Biodegradable Synthetic Hydraulic Oil as a replacement for most synthetic and conventional hydraulic fluids in stationary and mobile applications using gear, vane and piston hydraulic systems operating under high pressure and high temperatures. Typical applications include construction, logging and farming equipment, lawn and turf care or anywhere leaking, spills or ruptured hydraulic lines may present an environmental hazard. It is recommend for (not limited to) applications that require any of the listed specifications.

Compatibility
Biodegradable Synthetic Hydraulic Oil is compatible with most synthetic and petroleum-based hydraulic oils. Mixing Amsoil oils with other oils, however, will shorten the oil’s life expectancy and reduce its performance benefits. Amsoil does not support extended drain intervals where oils have been mixed. To ensure proper performance, it is recommended systems be drained and flushed prior to installation.

Amsoil Product Availability
Amsoil products are available in 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums, 275-gallon totes and bulk quantities.
